Red sea cucumbers have both a water vascular system that allows its tentacles to stretch and cover ground, along with tube feet, which give them the ability to move around. The cardiovascular system of the Red Sea Cucumber consists of a central haenal ring surrounding the pharynx next to the ring canal of the water vascular system, which sends out additional vessels through the pores of the sea cucumber. It is this combination of different canals and pores within the red sea cucumber that allow its open circulatory system to be effective.
