The Cardiovascular System of the Ascaris Lumbricoides
Ascaris Lumbricoides does not have a cardiovascular system. It does not utilize a heart or any blood vessels. Instead minerals are transferred throughout the body via fluid in the Pseudocoelom. It lives off the infected host which in this case tends to be humans. Other species that belong to the Ascaris genus tend to infect pigs and other animals accustomed to similar environments.
